Field Studies

The Snowdonia National Park and its environs offer an unrivalled opportunity to carry out field study work in a number of curriculum areas, from Biology and Geography through to P.E., History, Art and Photography. Centre staff can organise or give assistance with a range of field study options, such as coastal studies, glacial activity, the effects of tourism, industrial heritage, and the history behind the castles of North Wales.

We can help organise the outdoor activity modules of both G.C.S.E. and 'A' level P.E., including orienteering, hillwalking, rock-climbing and canoeing. The centre is an excellent resource for a visiting field study group, with its central location and ideal facilities for both outdoor and classroom based work.
