Raft building complements teamwork objectives perfectly, in that it allows groups to work together to design and build a craft that will allow them to float, and then paddle to their next destination. Staff can vary the amount of input given to allow all group abilities a degree of success.
This is again an activity which can still be enjoyed in any weather, as we have sites available that afford shelter in even the worst weather. Most groups find raft building both an enjoyable and stimulating activity, and the prospect of a good soaking at the end seems to hold people's interest throughout the session.
