While there are few natural caves in Snowdonia, the rock type has lent itself to quarrying and mining on a massive scale. As such, we can offer underground exploration in lead, copper and slate mines, where people enjoy the thrill of climbing and/or abseiling in the dark, and also learn about the industrial heritage that has shaped much of the landscape and many of the communities within the area.
